Asociația Municipiilor din România (AMR)

The Association of Romanian Municipalities (AMR) is a non-governmental, apolitical and non-profit organization representing the interests of Romania’s municipalities. Today, AMR brings together all 103 municipalities in Romania and the 6 districts of Bucharest, totaling 109 members and representing approximately 10.5 million residents.
Through its work, AMR supports the development of a modern, responsible and transparent local public administration, facilitating dialogue between local authorities, institutions, public administration professionals and national or international partners.
