CONAF

The National Confederation for Women’s Entrepreneurship (CONAF) is Romania’s most active employers’ confederation bringing together entrepreneurs, federations, and employers’ associations from across the economy, with the mission of supporting and promoting female entrepreneurship and the broader business environment.
With a network of over 11,100 companies and active programmes across all Romanian counties, CONAF advocates for entrepreneurs’ interests in dialogue with national and European authorities, promoting equal opportunities, entrepreneurial education, and active private sector participation in public policy development. Through initiatives such as “Gala Women in Economy”, “Maratonul pentru Educație Antreprenorială”, and “Pactul pentru Muncă”, the organisation contributes to building a balanced and forward-looking business ecosystem.
