Ministerul Educației și Cercetării

The Ministry of Education and Research is the central public authority responsible for developing and implementing national policy in the areas of pre-university education, higher education, and university-level scientific research.
The Ministry coordinates Romania’s national education and vocational training system, establishes the curricular and regulatory framework, oversees national examinations, and ensures the resources required for the functioning of educational institutions. It also coordinates international cooperation in the field, including within the Bologna Process and European academic mobility programmes.
