OMV Petrom

OMV Petrom is the largest integrated energy producer in South-East Europe and one of Romania’s largest investors and contributors to the state budget. The company is active across the full energy value chain: from oil and gas exploration and production to fuel refining and marketing, electricity generation, gas and power trading, and sustainable energy projects.
On the retail market, the Group operates approximately 780 filling stations across Romania and neighbouring countries under two brands: OMV and Petrom.
From 2005 to 2025, OMV Petrom contributed over €48 billion to the Romanian state budget and invested more than €21 billion. Through its Strategy 2030, the company plans to invest €11 billion in its transition towards a low-carbon future, while continuing to support local communities through programmes in education, healthcare and local development.
