UEFISCDI

The Executive Agency for Higher Education, Research, Development and Innovation Funding (UEFISCDI) is a public institution under the Ministry of Education and Research, with a role in research funding and in supporting policies for higher education, research, development and innovation.
The agency organises project competitions, monitors their implementation and develops platforms such as BrainMap, EERTIS, Study in Romania and the Integrated Educational Register, helping connect Romania’s academic, research and innovation ecosystem.
