Universitatea Tehnică din Cluj-Napoca (UTCN)

The Technical University of Cluj-Napoca (UTCN) is a public higher education institution in Romania, classified as an advanced research and education university. With 12 faculties in Cluj-Napoca and Baia Mare, plus extensions across Transylvania, it offers undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral programmes in engineering, architecture, automation, computer science, electronics, telecommunications, and related technical fields.
As a member of the European University Association (EUA) and Agence universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF), UTCN maintains over 200 international cooperation agreements and plays a key role in training specialists for Romania’s technical and technology-driven industries, through applied education, fundamental research, and active partnerships with the academic and business communities.
