CIROM

CIROM is the employers’ association of cement and mineral product manufacturers in Romania, founded in 1991 and headquartered in Bucharest. Bringing together 9 member companies (including Holcim, Heidelberg Materials, Romcim, etc) the organisation represents suppliers of over 90% of the cement used in Romanian construction, contributing approximately €200 million annually to the state budget and supporting around 10,000 jobs across the value chain.
A full member of the European Cement Association (CEMBUREAU), CIROM advocates for dialogue with public authorities, supports the industry’s transition towards climate neutrality by 2050 and promotes the adoption of a circular economy in Romania’s construction sector.
