Academia Română

The research network of the Romanian Academy is made up of 70 institutes and research centers, under the coordination of scientific sections, and covers the entire territory of the country, from Bucharest to Cluj-Napoca, Iași, Timișoara, Craiova, Sibiu, Târgu Mureș. The institutes of the Romanian Academy ensure the direction of fundamental research in Romania, developed within the framework of extensive projects, over long periods of time, involving generations of researchers.
