Centrul Român al Energiei

The Romanian Energy Center (CRE) is a non-governmental, non-profit professional association that has represented Romania’s public and private energy companies in Bucharest and Brussels since 2011. It connects the Romanian energy sector with European institutions, promoting its members’ interests in energy policy, international partnerships and EU funding programmes.
Through advocacy, research and innovation projects, and knowledge sharing, CRE supports investment in the transition to a low-carbon energy system. Its activities help Romanian companies contribute to European decision-making and participate in collaborative projects addressing the sector’s technological and market challenges.
