The National Research and Development Institute for Gas Turbines is the only specialized unit in Romania that integrates scientific research, design, production, experimentation, testing, technology transfer, and innovation in the field of aviation gas turbines, industrial gas turbine engines, and high-speed bladed machines.

Its continuous focus has led to the development of highly reliable industrial products, including power units, natural gas compressor units – both turbo and electric – and gas turbine-based cogeneration units.
