INCAS

The National Institute for Aerospace Research “Elie Carafoli” (INCAS) is Romania’s leading aerospace research institution, with over 70 years of tradition in aerospace engineering, fluid dynamics, and applied aerodynamics. INCAS holds a unique infrastructure of national strategic importance, including subsonic and trisonic wind tunnels, virtual reality labs, and experimental platforms. The institute is actively involved in European projects such as FlightPath 2050 and Horizon Europe, contributing to research and innovation policy development in the aerospace field. INCAS provides R&D services for both national and international aerospace communities, covering the full spectrum from fundamental research to technological implementation.
