<strong>Autoritatea Națională de Reglementare în Domeniul Minier, Petrolier și al Stocării Geologice a Dioxidului de Carbon (ANRMPSG)</strong>

The National Regulatory Authority for Mining, Petroleum and Geological Storage of Carbon Dioxide (ANRMPSG) is the public institution responsible for regulating these sectors in Romania and representing the state’s interests in the development of mineral resources.
The Authority manages petroleum agreements, mining licences and permits, and establishes technical rules and guidelines for exploration and extraction activities. Through its mandate, ANRMPSG supports the responsible management of Romania’s underground resources and the development of the regulatory framework for the geological storage of carbon dioxide.
